Angry Chickz, the California-born Nashville hot chicken brand, is building its footprint through a multi-unit franchise agreement across Texas and New Mexico.
The agreement will bring 25 Angry Chickz locations to life over the next five years in 11 new markets. The expansion will span the Dallas–Fort Worth and Austin markets, with the first restaurant slated to open in 2026.
“This is a major step for us,” says Mike LaRue, vice president of franchise development for Angry Chickz. “We’ve been hearing from fans in Texas and New Mexico for years asking us to come to their community, and now we’ve found the right partners to make it happen. They understand the bold flavor, the high energy and the insane fire that define Angry Chickz.”
Angry Chickz currently operates 33 restaurants across California, Nevada and Arizona.
