Bonchon signed a six-unit franchise agreement with new partner Erick Muro that will bring the South Korean-based fried chicken chain to Puerto Rico. The first unit is slated to open in late 2026.
Bonchon will introduce its latest restaurant prototype with this opening, offering guests a full-service dining experience and a contemporary Korean-inspired design. The prototype, which launched in 2025, features a streamlined kitchen and is optimized for dine-in, takeout and delivery, ensuring speed and convenience without compromising quality.
Bonchon currently operates more than 150 stores across the U.S. and nearly 500 restaurants worldwide.
