Bread Vine Expands Nationally with Bold Franchise Rollout and Uncompromising Culinary Vision 1536x1024Image courtesy of Bread & VineIllinois-based fast-casual restaurant Bread & Vine will expand nationwide after the signing of three franchise locations in Florida, Illinois and Massachusetts. 

Bread & Vine was founded by hospitality veteran Eric Bonnetain and fine wine expert Monique Bonnetain in Galena, Illinois, in 2021. Now, Bread & Vine is entering a new era with three franchise locations in development in Tampa, Fla., Geneva, Ill., and suburban Boston. Additionally, several franchise locations are in the works across the country. The brand expects to reach between 10 and 15 locations by the end of 2026.

“Every B&V location will carry the soul of the original,” says Monique Bonnetain, director of fine wine for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. “It’s about bringing elegance to everyday moments – a perfect croissant, a bold glass of wine, a shared mezze plate – with quality and intention behind every detail.”
