Ayah’s layout includes three dining rooms, a central bar and long banquette seating, allowing the space to transition from intimate dining to larger gatherings. Hand-painted walls, perforated panels, and locally created murals add further texture and detail, blending traditional artistry with modern touches.

The design incorporates custom-made tables, handcrafted windows, and flowing velvet curtains, with each element produced by Moroccan artisans and imported to New York. Gold-accented mirrors, carved wood details, and custom lighting fixtures contribute to the layered aesthetic, while rich fabrics and archways evoke the warmth and vibrancy of Moroccan culture.
The result is a restaurant environment that combines authenticity and elegance, positioning Ayah as a distinctive addition to SoHo’s evolving dining landscape.
