BLT Steak Debuts New Location in Aruba

In partnership with ESquared Hospitality, The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba opened a new BLT Steak restaurant as a second outpost in the Caribbean. (The company’s other location is in San Juan.) BLT Steak operates more than 20 locations around the world including Hong Kong, Tokyo and the flagship location in New York City, which opened in 2004.


Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Opens First Maryland Restaurant

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza continued its expansion throughout the Northeast with its first Maryland restaurant in Frederick. Local franchise partners Doug Sellers and Kane Wright signed on to open 10 Uncle Maddio’s locations throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area, making them one of the largest Uncle Maddio’s franchisees.

Salata, the Houston-based salad chain founded in 2005, opened a new location in Schaumburg, Ill., that includes new features to its beverage platform. The company now operates 52 units system wide, including locations in Texas, Illinois and Southern California.
