Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill Continues Brand Refresh
Denver-based fast-casual chain Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill is continuing a brand refresh that kicked off last October. Headlining the changes is a new “urban” design prototype, introduced at the chain’s new 2,300-square-foot location in the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall in downtown Denver. The prototype, which will be rolled out in all Colorado stores and then through the entire franchise system, features design and décor changes as well as operational enhancements that promise to boost average unit volumes.
Pie Five Opens First of 15 Planned Chicagoland Units
Fast-casual pizza phenom Pie Five Pizza Co., part of Rave Restaurant Group, is now making its presence felt in the Chicago area. The Dallas-based company entered the market this week with the opening of a store in Skokie, Ill. In total, 15 stores are planned for the Chicagoland area, part of a nationwide expansion program that has 400 new company-owned and franchised locations planned over the next five to six years.
