Breakfast-and-lunch concept Jimmy’s Egg will open its first Alabama, in the city of Jasper, location in October.

The 3,500 square-foot restaurant will accommodate up to 150 guests in a traditional booths and tables casual-dining style. The location will also offer a large meeting space for groups. Franchise partner Matt Frite will operate this location.

Jimmy’s Egg opened in Oklahoma City in 1980, began franchising in 2008, and currently has 60 locations. The chain plans to open 12 new restaurants during the next 12 months in such states as Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.
