Hooter's New Interior

In late spring, Hooters of America LLC unveiled a new prototype that will be the model for all new-build locations and influence refreshes and remodels at existing units. The new prototype, introduced at a 6,300-square-foot Hooters in Slidell, La., has a clean, bright interior with expansive windows, high ceilings and lots of open space. The bar is a central feature and zones provide a variety of seating heights and styles.

While the interior design and finishes are sleeker and more modern than past iterations, rustic touches, such as dark wood panels on some ceilings and walls and wooden columns trimmed in nautical rope, carry through aspects of Hooters' beach oasis heritage. A new Heritage Wall, which graphically depicts milestones in Hooters' history and highlights the iconic Hooters Girl, has been added as a signature interior feature.

The chain's focus on providing entertainment shines through in a more contemporary way with a 165-inch video wall complete with a quartet of 70-inch TVs. All told, the restaurant has 55 TVs mounted throughout.
